PWN signs partners and secures first end-user business customer

Melbourne, AUS, 24 January 2018 Leading independent wholesale telecommunications company, Partner Wholesale Networks (PWN), today announced it has secured partners Essene Group and Members Telecom amongst its first distributors for Optus Cloud-UCX. Members Telecom has already signed a leading Real Estate company as an end-user of the service.

PWN Director, Graeme Kelly, said that he knew this product was going to be a terrific draw card for partners and end users right from the start. “This really is a market leading product. And as the first BroadCloud provider in the Australian market outside of Optus Loop, and as one of the first wholesale providers to bring this solution to market, we are enjoying our early mover advantage. We expect to announce another significant partner alliance in the coming weeks.”

“The demand for cloud services is continuing to grow, and the Cloud-UCX product directly addresses this, allowing our channel partners to create and white-label a market leading UC offering including instant messaging, presence, voice and video calling, conferencing and desktop and file sharing.”

PWN has also been trialing the platform in its own business over the past eight weeks and has just gone live with the solution. “We’ve implemented Cloud-UCX across all aspects of the business including our call centre and for all staff. We’re using the Cloud app communicator and already enjoying the many benefits of the platform.”

Graeme said, “We’re fortunate in that we have been able to leverage our first mover advantage by attending the BroadSoft Connections Forum in Phoenix USA last October. This allowed us to gain significant market insights and a competitive edge that has allowed us to hit the ground running.”

Cloud-UCX is supported by the PWN customer service platform including a whole of business product suite delivered on a single bill, in addition to collections, customer service, provisioning and pre-sales support.
